Ran pandacloud which found several items that it cleaned after manually selecting items found I have tried the following re-running pandafree each time to see if it was cleaned:ĭeleted all but last restore in drivecleanup for c:Ĭreated new restore (thinking it may be in the latest restore) But now I am getting a warning from AV scan about genetic.gen being in System volume information and can not be cleaned. I deleted the one file manually and removed the folder under appdata, and deleted registry call. It did not delete one file or remove registry call to. I pulled HDD and cleaned it with Pandafree version connected to another computer with drivewire. it tried to connect me to multiple nasty sites.
Vista Service pack 2 on HP DV2500 laptop.
